I usually use the kr site just to check out all the cool new stuff as must of the stuff we won't be seeing anytime soon...
With the db translating stuff the kr site just becomes a reference site.

Clicking on any material will tell you how to obtain it. For items such as fine iron ore you can expand to see what you need and so on and so forth.
Now that a material has been clicked it shows what items/equipment it can be used to make.
Finally, there are two tabs, one from the previous screen shows the left tab grayed out, this shows what monster drops this item.
